As well as the outside covered seating area mentioned above, you can also sit on the front deck either on the trampoline or on either hull
We have cushions onboard so you will be comfortable whilst you sit and watch the waves and the blue sky. The sails on this catamaran are very well suited to sailors, with a generous size main sail Nimos really flys under sail. She is very responsive when helming making her the perfect catamaran to learn onboard. With two helm stations on each hull it allows you to see the sails from both angles which really makes a difference. Onboard we have all the safety equipment you expect from an RYA Training Vessel as well as more features that we find useful. Whilst on a training course you will be shown how and when to use all of the safety equipment onboard.
Most of the below deck is actually the same level as outside, which is another reason why she is so spacious
This means when you are sat at anchor or sailing you can sit inside or out and still see outside the yacht, which is a great feature for those that need a bit of shade but still want to be part of the sailing. It also gives you a huge area for dinning inside or out or having a GnT at anchor. Other important features include having two large water cooled fridges, this means they work very effiecently and give you plenty of storage for food and drinks. This is an important feature as the catamaran is fantastic for staying in a bay overnight and having a bbq onboard. Whilst in the bay it is also a good time to try out the underwater lights and swim between the hulls, definately a bucket list kind of experience! Still in the main saloon you have a large galley as well as a huge navigation area, perfect for those wanting to learn and develop their skills as a skipper. The cabins, saloon and galley area all have A/C which runs off the generator or shore power. We find it is great just before bed to give the cabins a cool down. During the day there is more than enough hatches to allow a nice breeze through the yacht. The cabins themselves are also very spacious with 'land' style rectangle beds. Each cabin has good storage and feels very open, each with a hatch on the outter wall giving you stunning views as you wake up. Each heads (bathroom) contains an electric toilet and a hot and cold shower.
avaiable for Skippered Charters - as a whole boat booking or on selected weeks as part of a cabin shared charter.
Or you can chose to complete an RYA Training Course onboard, either Competent Crew or Day Skipper is available onboard. If you are looking to charter catamarans in the future then it makes alot of sense to learn on one. She is also available for refresher courses. These are aimed at sailors that have maybe completed their Day Skipper on a monohull and wish to learn a bit more about catamaran sailing before trying bareboat holidays. This is brilliant way to build your confidence with an RYA Instructor onboard, whist also training your crew that may or may not have sailed before. The instructor will help build your crew so when you do decide to bareboat you are ready to do it without the stress! If you have never been to the Ionian before, feel free to check out our Ionion Harbour Guide for free. Or of course get in touch with one of the team with any questions you might have. We are always open to ideas and try to be as flexible with dates as possible.
