Sailing is something that everyone should have the opportunity to experience

Here at No Stress Yachting we are a huge fan of the work these guys do and we want to help as much as we can. We believe sailing is something that everyone should have the opportunity to experience and enjoy, therefore we are trying to do our bit to get people who are in need of a good holiday on the water!

Those of you who have been keeping track will know that Norman had put his Classic Motor Yacht Revlis up for sale for £25,000. With ALL the profits going to charity! Recently Relvis has been sold!!!! The plan is to now use these profits to allow beneficiaries from Sail for Cancer and Turn to Starboard out to Corfu and sailing!

So far we have managed to get a boat load of guys from Turn to Starboard out sailing with us on our Easter Flotilla. See the mini blog below to see how it went.

We loved having the guys out and are looking forward to another trip hopefully in September. If you do want to donate to the charity please don’t hesitate to do so on their website, they are a fantastic charity that really do make a difference to some well deserving people.

Easter Sailing Trip with Turn 2 Starboard

At the beginning of the year we decided we should offer a yacht out to a charity to give some deserving people a trip they would remember. Turn to Starboard came back to us straight away with a group of 6 guys who are all part of their program. Turn to Starboard is a charity that specialises in getting ex-forces personnel into the yachting industry by putting them through the RYA Yachtmaster Scheme.

What a fantastic week we had with the guys. The Turn to Starboard yacht was part of our three boat flotilla, sailing around the North Ionian between Kassiopi to Paxos.

During the week each of the 6 qualified skippers took it in turns to be in charge of the yacht, which meant learning new skills to stern to moor or long line to shore. As there is no tide to play with, it meant everyone could work on other aspects of skippering like sail trim and yacht handling.

It was a great week out sailing and we already have plans for another later in the season.

Thank you to all involved and keep up the great work!

This is just a simple notice. Everything is in order and this is a simple link.
